continuity work so far

How is continuity maintained in this scene..:

Red Dwarf
Series 3, episode 1 - Backwards
(Bar room tidy……)

In this scene continuity is maintained throughout, which makes it easier to under stand what is happening in the story.

Lister and friends get into ( / out of ) a big fight in a parallel universe, where everything is backwards.
I chose this scene to show how the continuity is maintained in Red Dwarf because I feel that it is one of the most interesting parts of the episode, and would be a challenging piece to show continuity.
The scene starts straight away by showing Lister throwing a glass of water into the face of one of the background characters which causes (or technically ends) the brawl.
Each section of the pub you see fighting flows with the foreground characters creating a sense of realism in this scene which collectively makes very little sense altogether. You see some of the main characters moving around, which the camera follows to move around in the bar. It then goes on to show others characters reacting in the correct manner to people being thrown across the room, which although is not important, shows the continuity between the scenes.
After this, it starts to become a bit more confuzzling by the means of Lister crawling backwards into a scrum of people pounding him, and leaps from the floor onto a table and runs into another room to continue ( or start ) the fight.

Other ways the continuity is maintained in this clip, is by showing the characters wearing the same individual outfits and using the same accents throughout, also by maintaining the same character profile e.g. personality, sense of humor.
